Statement

Jason Miklik M.F.A.

I entered art intuiting art to be a liberating force, offering a way of expression and insight of understanding my inner sense toward beauty. The main attraction in observing people led me to portrait art and what visual notions make people seem so unknown and mysterious. Art History (portraiture) and artists like Magritte, Miro, cubists portraits, Nutt, and Steinberg supported my creative feelings. Exploring my portrait involvements for assimilating deeper human meaning has included studies of Behavior Sciences, Philosophy, and Neurology.
My art has become portrayal generalizations in abstraction and metaphor: mental energies of brain processes of human complexities, variations and celebrations. Portraits Inside Out.
